ADHD Diagnosis & Treatment FAQs

Can you tell me more about how ADHD in children is treated?

Treatment plans may include behavioral strategies, parent education, nutritional and lifestyle guidance, and medication management when appropriate. By supporting both the child and their caregivers, Dr. Hart helps families create structure, confidence, and calm at home and at school.

How does Dr. Hart help adults who are newly diagnosed with ADHD?

Through personalized assessment and integrative treatment, adult patients learn how ADHD impacts their nervous-system regulation, relationships, and self-perception. Dr. Hart offers tools for energy management, emotional balance, and productivity that foster self-acceptance and sustainable change.

Can you tell us more about medication management for ADHD?

ADHD medications require in-person visits at minimum once yearly, more often for kids and people with more side effects.

What does Dr. Hart's ADHD education series cover?

Workshops and resources are designed to help empower patients and families to understand attention as a rhythm that can be trained and supported, not a flaw to be fixed. These programs encourage curiosity, compassion, and lifelong self-advocacy.

Can you provide more details about the Education Series?

Dr. Alicia Hart offers an 8-class series for neurodivergent adults, with recorded live lectures, access to notes, and a workbook to help continue the skill-building process.

Classes are adult-focused, interactive, and led by Dr. Hart, who also has ADHD. You can take classes in any order, as a series or a single class.
