Mental Health Diagnosis & Treatment FAQs

Can you tell me more about medication management?

Medication management is a critical component of mental health treatment in Dr. Hart’s practice. As an experienced physician/therapist, she takes a thoughtful and evidence-based approach to prescribing and managing medications. Understanding that each individual’s response to medication can vary, she prioritizes personalized care plans that are closely monitored for effectiveness and safety. The goal is to optimize medication regimens to enhance mental health outcomes while minimizing side effects.

Our medication management services include comprehensive evaluations, ongoing monitoring, and adjustments as needed.

ADHD medications require in-person visits at minimum once yearly, more often for kids and people with more side effects.

We believe in a collaborative approach, where our clients are active participants in their treatment. This includes educating clients about their medications, discussing potential side effects, and ensuring that medications are integrated effectively into their overall treatment plan. At NW Regen in Portland, we are dedicated to providing compassionate and expert medication management to support our patients’ mental health journeys.
