Connective Tissue Disorders
Discover your body’s powerful regenerative healing process.
Regenerative therapies & integrative medicine help patients heal.
Your body and lifestyle hold the keys to orchestrate a powerful healing process.
NW Regen’s cohesive & collaborative care treats:
Ehler’s Danlos Syndrome (EDS)
Connective tissues support our organs and hold parts of the body in place. They’re made of two proteins: collagen and elastin. EDS affects your body’s ability to produce collagen. So, people with EDS have connective tissue that isn’t as strong or supportive as it should be.
Hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSDs)
HSDs encompass an array of connective tissue disorders characterized by joint instability and chronic pain. Fatigue and other systemic symptoms that affect daily functioning may also occur.
Sjogren's Dry Eye Syndrome
Sjogren’s syndrome is an immune system illness. It occurs when the body’s immune system attacks its own healthy cells. Often accompanies rheumatoid arthritis and lupus. The two most common symptoms are dry eyes and a dry mouth.
Cranial Cervical instability (CCI)
This condition occurs when the ligaments and connective tissues in the neck and head are damaged or weakened. This creates laxity typically in the upper couple of vertebrae in the neck, usually at the C1-C2 level.
People with EDS or those who’ve experienced motor vehicle crashes may experience CCI which can cause chronic headaches, recurrent migraines, neck pain, vertigo, dizziness, brain fog, and cognitive impairment.
How can NW Regen help me heal and feel better?

Your body holds healing power.
Your own blood carries a healing agent that can assist in healing. By drawing your blood and spinning it in our lab’s centrifuge, we harvest Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) to re-inject in your body and regenerate damaged tissue.

Loose joints, fragile skin...
These disorders can affect the cartilage, bones, blood, and fat in your body. You might experience symptoms in skin, joints, muscles, blood vessels with fragile skin and loose, unstable joints. Prolotherapy can often help tighten these up.

Cohesive, collaborative care.
“Healing connective tissue starts with understanding the systems that support it — nervous, immune, and emotional.” Integrative physician Dr. Alicia Hart specializes in diagnosing and treating complex chronic conditions, including EDS and HSD.
Integrative Support for Complex Conditions
At NW Regen, we understand that connective tissue disorders such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and hypermobility affect more than joints and ligaments — they influence the nervous system, circulation, and overall energy regulation.
Regenerative Therapies
Regenerative injections like PRP and Prolotherapy and Stem Cell Therapies support joint stability, tissue healing, and pain relief. These treatments help reduce strain on weakened connective tissues and encourage long-term repair.
Integrative Medicine
Dr. Alicia Hart provides personalized support for complex chronic conditions including EDS and HDS. Her whole-person care bridges medical science and lifestyle-based healing — with personalized treatment plans that address pain, stability, and energy regulation.
Advocacy & Chart Optimization
These conditions often overlap with fatigue, dysautonomia, or MCAS. Effective care may mean multiple specialists. Dr. Hart offers a unique service of medical advocacy and chart organization — helping you make sense of your history, test results, and treatment plans.
